With world food shortages predicted and farm land more important then ever to feed Americans. Not to mention foreign investors having little interest in saving any habitat.

Try finding someone to get permission to hunt, when they live outside the U.S. and are most likely some huge conglomerate.

This is not isolated just in Wisconsin. Foreign interests are buying up premium farm land all through the heartland. They have ZERO loyalty to American's and the food raised on these lands can and will be exported to where the foreign interests want them to go.

I can't believe any person in charge of such a office would sell out Americans this way. Unbelievable..

Walker is a joke, when done you will be able to look back and see that he added nothing and took away what he was told to. Corp gov for hire all he is.

Anything corp America wants he will try and deliver on a platter.

Yeah...I guess and most suburban working, home owning families are "corporate America" because we want less government, lower taxes, and am in strong favor of Act 10.

I agree!!!!!!!Not to mention giving us back our Constitutional Right & the choice to defend ourselves with Concealed Carry and some protections with the Castle Doctrine. PS. I'm a public worker and couldn't wait to get out of AFSCME....no more shakedown every month for Union dues and then using the money to support things I don't believe in!This is all I'll say on the matter this is a pheasant hunting forumn.

I'm not sure of the section of the Wisconsin state constitution or of the Federal constitution that gives the government the power to restrict to whom I may sell my property.

Perhaps someone can can help me out?

While generally speaking you are correct...those same govt entities are the very ones that can SEIZE that property of yours if you can't or won't pay them your fee to own that property (taxes).

I should have written my post more clear I was refering to the Constitution when I was talking about Concealed Carry....The Right To Keep And Bear Arms.

I'm pretty much non-political.

But this old man's observations from the get-go is that Mr. Walker has been running for a presidential slot, maybe since he was born. Most laws he has pushed have been geared at campaign donations, both immediate, and for the National stage.

His demographic seems to be the far right, or are they still called "tea bag" conservatives. His representation of the state's citizens has always seemed to have a focus on ONE citizen...himself.

Not going to get into a discussion or argument, just what I've watched.

and yes, I've always voted in every election. :)

Couldn't agree with you more, self serving is all he is about. Never misses an chance to leave the state and dish out the red meat for the teabaggers.

Is UltimatePheasantHunting.com really the place you need to put comments like that out here? Pathetic.

Maybe I can ease your pain a bit:D. Just south of you here in Illinois we have had one party super majority going. What they've brought us is the following;

*67% increase in state income taxes--ouch!
*50-sum% corporate tax increase (except for the largest corporations within IL. They got a "deal", hence leaving the burden to pay on everyone else)
*over $100 BILLION in unpaid pension funds. That's just unpaid alone and yes, that was a B for Billion.
*a down graded credit rating costing the tax payers of IL around $15 Million more a month in fees--next will be another down grade that will cost us hundreds of millions a year in extra fees
*highest unemployment rate in the Midwest
*within the top 3 states in the USA for hardest state to find a job
*signs Chicago becoming the next Detroit
*refusal by our politicians to take on difficult issues that NEED!!!! attention to save our state--except possible massive property tax increases coming next:eek:
*a steady and continual flow of corruption and nepotism within our gov't and a corrupt media just seems to look the other way.
*a terribly under funded/anemic Department of Natural Resources
*lay-off of 2,000 teachers (more will be coming if nothing is do in Springfield/IL capital)

And I could go on but it's time to fly. I guess my point is this; count your blessings you're not in the same boat as us. Right now, your "tea party" gov't looks pretty dam good to us down here;)

How bout the fact that Illinois has underfunded the fish and game department for years, has a draconic firearms and ammunition ban on everyone, not like it works to reduce violence in south Chicago, or east St. Louis! I think all the former governors are in jail, or paroled, across two parties, for a broad number years. We could say the same thing about a lot of states, tea-baggers, republicans, democrats, whigs, and tory!

"Generally speaking"?

They can try and tax away property and we will see how far that will go. Placing capital restrictions on property such as the opening poster is suggesting is a much more subtle form of tyranny but no less intrusive.

I am quite certain we will see such things thrown at us in the coming years as things begin to unravel and the un-payable debt becomes more apparent. Capital controls are always tried by failing governments but they do not work, just as centralized planning never works either but we elect central planners every year int he hopes that they will give us things for free or at least on a low payment plan.
