Winchester Rooster XR

Well I received a few boxes of the Rooster XR in 4,5,6's from my buddy at Winchester to test out this fall. I have been shooting the Turkey loads for a couple years now and am very impressed with the performance.

I am going to go test pattern some and will give my reviews shortly. If they pattern anything like the Longbread XR shells it could be a great load. They are not cheap, but for what few shots we get in KS anymore why not buy good shells.

It would be interesting to compare them to the equivalent federal prairie storm loads. I like those a lot, but I save them for the late season longer shots. Early on I shoot the cheap stuff.
