WIHA on GPS is wrong

I downloaded this years WIHA on my GPS. I guess it keeps the old Atlas on it and combined it with this year's. Some of the signs are still up, but the books does not show it. Some of it has no signs at all.
I thought the state would pull the old signs down once it was taken out.

It's bad to drive up to a spot that the GPS says is in, but get there and there are no signs up.

I have seen a couple of cases where people have pulled down the signs.
I assume so that other would not hunt it.

The new map overlays on the old one in lieu of replacing it. I wish I knew how to get rid of the old short of getting a new map.

Yes, many signs will get knocked down.

If you go into the Map Setting on your GPS you should be able to see which ones are active and then turn off the old one.

The book also tells it could change at anytime. People can change their minds middle of the year if they want. You just got to roll with what you find.

Are these for GPS units in your car? Or the handheld unit the size of a cell phone you carry with you? Or both? I haven't dug deep into it. Have both kinds of various Garmin units.

I have also seen a signless WIHA...or, actually, one with purple-painted tires proudly in place.
Turns out after a call to the state....locals had tried to maintain a honey hole.
Fella at the state said..."look on the back side fence, likely be a sign they were too lazy to tear down...it happens".
He was spot on.
Hunted it again and one truck drove slowly by looking me over.
I waved a pheasant for him to see.
The mean face he gave was worth the original confusion.
