I got back home this morning from Kansas City. Had a very good time at Pheasant Fest but was sorry I was unable to connect with some members that were there. I did run into bigjon from Minnesota while walking around the show floor. Saturday night we ate at Jack Stack BBQ in KC and is was awesome. I highly recommend. My wife manged to snap a quick photo of Elle and I as we went by in the Bird Dog Parade on Friday. The pic didn't turn out the best but it's all we got. It was interesting to see so many dog breeds and some of the more rare breeds. Hope to see more of you next year and I will be at your table Uguide.

I am back in Dodge now and trying to hold on to my real estate with quite a wind storm.

I thank UGuide for his hospitality and effort to reserve a table at the banquets. Enjoyed the company of Uguide and wife, Deadbird, a father and son from Denver and a man and wife from North Carolina at the table. Landman came by for a bit also. Visited with Mike Christensen and some of my PF buddies.

I had a good time at my first Pheasant Fest. I spent every hour in a different seminar and still didn't get to all of them I wanted. Spent some time with several biologists with PF and USF&WS. Have biologists scheduled to be at the Ponderosa on Wednesday to talk about the Lesser Prairie Chicken Initiative on my grassland and CRP on my crop land.

Certainly glad I was able to attend.
