Who's going where? Opening weekend.

I heading out in Keith, Garden and Perkins counties. I have only seen one rooster this whole year so I'm not optimistic but hopefully there will be a few the dogs and I can chase.

I'll be in the Alliance area opening morning then down around Oglalla the other two days. Can't wait, Love Nebraska for multi species days. Last year we managed three prairie chickens, two roosters and four bobs opening day. This year hoping for roosters, sharpies and chikins.
 
You guys that are getting out there on the opener, please let us know how you do. I don't expect location info, just want to know if you see some birds.

Last year the group I went with did quite well for hunting in Nebraska. Group of 7 got 26 roosters in about 11 hours of hunting.

Not bad at all considering 2 of the 7 hunters were in there 40's, 1 of 7 in late 70's, and remaining 4 were from 18 to 13 years old.

If we do 1/2 as well this year I will be happy.
