Where's the best place in colorado to get live birds

Not sure what part of Colorado you are in, but if you don't find anything you might check out www.harpersgamefarm.com in the TX Panhandle. My son drives from Tyler (450 miles) and buys his pheasant and chuckers from them. They are in the top of the Panhandle (Booker, TX).

Ringmaster, what are you looking for? Training? Brushing up? Let me know exactly what you want and I may be able to steer you in the right direction.

BleuBijou im lookin for begginning birds my pups all most 5 months old and i would like get something live to really get his nose fired up he went out all season with us but didnt like flopping birds i tried some frozen dove but the whole bird dissappers in his large muzzle.

Pigeons

If you are near metro Denver call Norma 720-641-2008. She has an almost limitless supply at $4 bucks a bird.

I've trained all my dogs on pigeons. And they are particulary good with young dogs. Lots of scent, not too big, no spurs, pretty passive if you use for live bird retreiving.

Good luck.
