I know I've been seeing more young quail this year compared to last. Really excited for the season! I think it could be great.

I am hearing some good reports.Friend who Custom Harvests said he saw quite a few 2-4" pheasants and said last evening that it was so hot during the day he put out a big pan of water for the dog and watched a hen come up with 12 little ones and drink water in his yard out of the pan.He said he finally got to mow around his place for the first time this year and said little pheasants were flying around everywhere.Much better than last year. I kicked up about 50 roosters on his place last year in the cattle pens that were chest deep. Should be better this year.Just have to wait and see what the Fall harvest shows.Grasshoppers were everywhere he said.
