Emporia wrestling tournament Saturday. A brisk walk Sunday afternoon, assuming I can find a field with no rifle hunters around!

Headed to Colby for some pheasant hunting!
Let me see, wifes to do list and packing today. Duck hunting tomorrow. Off to SD on tuesday

Have you been seeing many birds around Tipton? I have family east a few miles out of town and haven't made it out there yet this year?

Today was the first time I have been out there in about ten years. We saw birds in about every field, not a lot but more than I expected.
Quite a bit of ground is grazed, but there is some decent cover that will hold birds. Snow would be nice.

Well duck hunting kinda sucked for me. I couldn't go down sat morning as wife had me loaded up. Of course the guys shot limits of mallards, gads and a couple teal. I go out sunday morning and shoot one gad at about 10, and nothing else. Missed the cold front by a couple hrs. As I was loading up truck, ducks were piling into marsh I just left. Oh well, at least I didn't have a bunch of ducks to clean.
