What's that grass?

There is a reddish grass found in many CRP areas and that is also favored by Pheasants Forever in some of their sponsored habitat areas. I've seen it in heights from 18" to almost 5 feet and it seems to provide excellent cover for the birds. Does anyone know the name of this grass so I can call it something other than "that nice red grass"?

Thanks Win21. Looking for some nice "Switchgrass" cover areas sounds more experienced than nice "reddish looking grass" cover areas.

Switchgrass

Switchgrass next to harvested corn, wheat, or milo is the deal. I love to find that combination in the middle of the day.
