What's My Special Purpose??

Hi, I'm Ace. I turn 9 weeks old today & I've been part of my new family for 3 days. I like to play, poop, pee, eat, & nap. I don't whine & cry all night. I bark. This morning at 3:15, Daddy told me "No" & I think I understood. He sounded kind of mad. My new mommy is great, but my new sisters are the best. They look a lot like Mommy & Daddy & they like to play & snuggle too. Sometimes when I do stuff, Daddy says it's a good thing I'm so cute, whatever that means. I must be pretty cute though. Daddy also tells me about all the new things I'll learn & fun stuff we'll do, but that I'll find my special purpose in October. That seems like a long way away, but he makes these roosters sound really fun. I hope he's right.

I'll second George's comments. Best of luck with your new pup -don't envy the house training et al...

That pup has all kinds of win in him! Going to be a great ride.
Here's to a great 15 years ahead!
Cant have too many pics!

Great picture and nice looking pup. Glad to see you found one. Sure he will bring years of enjoyment and you two will have lots of great hunts together.

Wonderful puppy!

Get past the house-breaking, teething, and separation anxiety times, and you've got a best friend and companion into the 2030's.

Ace is a joy.

Nice work.

How can you even scold that pup? lol.

I totally admit to having been negligent. Thanks so much, UplandHntr, for bringing it to my attention. My excuse is all the middle-of-the-night feedings & diaper changes have me a bit out of sorts.

But Ace is doing great. He's growing like a weed & is getting goofier by the day. He acts really comfortable in his new home & it seems that his attitude is one of "it's all good". The girls were all out of town for 3+ days last weekend, so he & I were bachin' it. It was our chance to really get to know each other. That's all it took. I'm fully smitten. The love affair has begun. He obviously has "pheasant machine" written all over him.

That's a happy, healthy, contented pup.

Yes, we should figure something out. You're aware that springers don't know how to honor points, right?? :D

I'll hunt with any breed, flusher or pointer. Never been a problem. But I'll warn you, I have a big running Brit. We'll just keep a little distance between us and it will be okay.
