Whats going on?

How many of you are getting ready for a big test or trial this summer?? Maybe we can share some training on this post.

Max and I are training for the NAVHDA Invitational in Iowa. We have never rn this test before and we.............I am pretty nervous.
Things I think we need work on are backing and the double mark. The backing is more of a dominance ith other dogs issue. The double mark is more of a " I have no clue about it" issue. But I am sure we will get throughit.

If anyone is in Iowa and wants to get together for a training day, I am game!

Too bad we aren't closer to each other. I too would like to be able to get together with some other dog owners where we could work on training issues. I need to firm up Elle on point and re-enforce the "whoa" command some more. She has been breaking on birds at the NSTRA trials before I get to her to flush the bird. She had a 1st place run going last Sunday and then got DQ'd. She was on point and the other dog rode in on her towards the bird. She didn't withstand the pressure and took the bird out. Anyone in eastern SD or SW Minn. that would be interested, let me know.

My 2 year old has gone 3 for 3 in seniors this spring. One more for the title!
I have a new pup coming soon they are 2 weeks old yesterday (NFC x MH breeding). He doesn't have a name yet... Any suggestions? I am am thinking "Glen Edins Day Breaker" call name Ty.
