Am just finishing up a long road trip to the west coast. Listened to a few pod cast on the way about different upland things. Just scanned through them and kinda cherry picked a few things that interested me. I like learning about different breeds, training, shooting tip, and love to hear stories of trips people take. Who do you listen to and why?

Jimmy Buffet, helps chill me while traveling. Rather read outdoor info than podcasting, at 72 I’ve been there, done that, but still learning. God bless.

I like The flush pod cast, birds booze and buds, upland nation, bird shot, hunting dog pod cast, meat eater . I have a long drive to work so I can fit more than a few in each week

another strong vote for meateater. Not much bird hunting content on there. Even though I'm not a western, public-land, big game hunter it's still very interesting.

Also listen to Birds, Booze, and Buds and Hunting Dog. Both of those lack the production value of Meateater, but on the other hand they focus on on bird hunting. I find myself skipping some of these, sometimes based on content, sometimes based on production quality. But they are still on the "subscribe" list.

I listen to Shotgun Sports USA. Mostly on clays shooting but if you get a chance listen to #67 and #68. It is with Dr Colo who is a vision specialist. Amazing learning about how your eyes work shooting a shotgun.

Randy Shultz - A Bird Hunters Thoughts-Turn ‘Em Loose is a good listen as well.

I listen to all of these, except meat eater. Gonna have to give that one a go. Also do the muzzleloader podcasts but that's a different forum lol!

None. They bore the crap out of me. Most of them don't know what their talking about unless it's about pen birds and sucking rope.

When I was flying weekly for work I'd download MeatEater. Still listen to it once in a while.

Then got started on Clay Newcomb's "Bear Grease Podcast". It is kind of an outdoors themed, history, Americana, hunting, 'of things forgotton' documentary style every other week plus the offweeks they have a group breakdown of the previous weeks podcast. Current discussion is Jerry Clower and coonhunting and southern culture. I think it is great stuff to listen to on a long drive and my wife is happy I've switched off of talk radio...

I’m on catch up mode with meat eater, they touch on a little of everything. Episode with uncle ted is awesome, his no bs filter was refreshing!

i'm busy listening to the voices in my head. much too preoccupied for podcasts

I spend a lot of time in my truck or on planes so I listen to a lot of podcasts. the best one for upland is the Upland rookie and Birds, booze and bud's shows. I like Ron but these guys in my opinion are better. The hunting public is my new favorite as I love turkey hunting.
