What does your dog do when you miss a bird?

My dogs are actually quite forgiving. They'll run until I call "no bird" and move on to the next one. I had some major accuracy issues early in the season, and I wish they had got mad at me. I deserved it...

1st week of the season is run until the electronics get activated. Late season, she (Labrador) runs about 10-15 yards the same direction looking for any sign that it isn't going to fall out of the sky (if shots were fired.) After the initial run out, she stops and watches longer until either i say "no bird" or *#@!$ After a few hunts, she has seen enough misses followed by cursing that she knows the drill, and goes back to hunting for the next one.

Yeah the first week of the season I missed several layups, and then I got on a roll. The second week, used several different guns.

Mine goes back to the truck and has a shot of whiskey. When I get back to the truck, I get a look that clearly says IF YOU DON'T GET WITH THE PROGRAM, YOU'RE GOING TO BE BUSTING THAT THICK STUFF BY YOUR SELF!
One time my dog was chasing around in these cattails that were 8 ft. Tall, and probably took 10 minutes for before this bird. It took a lot of work. Real. A whole lot of work and I miss three times from like 10 yd 20 yd or something like that and boy was he pissed off.
