Dang! I am going to lose all my Michigan customers!

But serious, the state has a loyal following of sportsmen and owes them and effort to keep they interests local.

It doesn't mention how much will be invested so I question without compensation and support regardless of how big the target area is how much habitat can they effectively create.

It does sound exciting though.

I hope in 10 years we all dream of going to hunt in Michigan. I'm also jealous because we don't have anything like it in Missouri.

I hope that the program goes well obviously, but I am disappointed to see that I fall into a secondary area. :(

A big part of the reason I chose to buy where I did and commute an hour to work every day was because I knew that there has been a sustained pheasant population in the area for years. Apparently there are more pheasants in other areas of the state than I realized?

Don't be so sure. These areas weren't selected because they already have stable pheasant populations.

The big kick off meeting is this Saturday. We're all very interested to hear more. I'm cautiously optimistic.
