Welcome Huntersdad

I just wanted to start a thread and welcome my friend Huntersdad. He's currently in Afghanistan doing a tour with the Army. He's been to Iraq twice and certainly paid his dues with overseas tours. He loves birddogs though. He's stationed in Colorado when he's not overseas.

I'm appreciative of his efforts though, and everything he's done for this country.

Be sure to thank a veteran for all they have sacrificed though. It's a lot.

Thanks Josh.

Glad to have him aboard.I have been in contact with a friend's nephew who was a marine.Right now he is out east for therapy due to losing both legs at the knee.I have been talking to him and he from a town not too far south of me.He told me after rehab he wants to buy a place in the country, that is when I told him about a plce across the road from me.He was happy about this. I told him about us and he plans on joining up when the therapy starts slowing down and has more time.Iplan on working with him on getting a place and told him so. He told me he'll have his uncle let me know when he is back in town and wants to get started looking hard for a place so I can take him around to look.

Thanks for the welcome guys. 46 days to my midtour leave and getting some hunting in. Best of luck to all of you this fall.

It will be here before you know it Josh.
We will have some bird located for you when you get back.

Huntersdad, when you return from the war zones, get out and hunt and reconnect to the beauty and peace of nature. Thanks for going in harm's way for the USA.
