Are you still located in Rapid City? There is a Weimaraner breeder in SW Nebraska that you might call. I personally know nothing about this breeder, don't even know if tthey are still in business. But you might try giving them a call.

Look to Bryan Reynolds on fb or brymar weims.com There is a breeder in around Denver with some nice dogs. Ball Bluff kennels in Minnesota has improved with health testing and akc hunt testing of their dogs. Their Goose sired my weims that are formidable bird dogs.

Mindy Brown is in Iowa and has some very nice dogs. A little on the smaller side which seems to be the way competition lines are going. Ball Bluff probably has larger weims then any of the others.

You may know Jon Hann from Perfection Kennel as he he was formerly a bigtime retriever trainer. He sees many weims come thru his clinics and may be able to offer some guidance.

I know this guy hunts his dogs almost every day of the season on wild birds here in Iowa. I see him on the gravels in full blaze orange and at the gas station in chaps all the time. His kennels are clean. I do not know much more, he is a customer of a former coworker, and I have been to his place several times "filling in", he keeps a clean kennel I do know that.
