for those Cowboys fan here.. Wade is gone. Fired as of 4pm today. Jason Garrett will take over and Jerry Jones told him hes got 8 games to prove to Jerry that he can win these games to be the offical head coach for next year's season. Im guessing cowboys will probably lose this week VS the giants as they do every year, but after that, Garrett has to show Jones he can do it so he can be the one for head coach next year.

ESPN reports that Jason Garrett is paid hefty amount of money being an assistance because in past years, alanta tried to get him to become a head coach there, but Jones didnt want to release him so gave him the NFL top assistant paying job. ($$$ amount unknown)


I dont think a week of training is gonna change the cowboys but in 2-3 weeks they should start to show teamwork. Dallas cowboys has totally ignored Phillips for awhile now. it was easy for packers to read the Cowboys bc they kept playing the same plays weeks after weeks and not changing up.

Dallas will never have a good team until Jones learns to let the coach do the coaching and the team discipline. A coach cannot control a team when the owner is butting in on his domain and not letting him do his job. Jones has to big an ego to ever change, so the fans better get use to it.........Bob
