I used to wear a hunting coat and wore several of them out but switched to a technical vest years ago. I wear a base layer, a hunting shirt a lightweight vest and a Browning or Cabelas jacket that keeps me warm to down about 10*. I also have a blaze orange hoodie that I wear sometimes instead of the lightweight vest if it’s really cold and then put my WingWorks vest over the top of that.
