Just looked at his website, season to date, across all camps, averaging 1.9 birds per hunter per day. All private land. Varied locations across SD. Generally a trip runs about $1300/1400…4 nites lodging, 3 days hunting…no guide. About $450 per day of hunting. He no longer provides harvest data per location…his NW SD camps were hot the past several years.

The way he is calculating his averages insulates the poor performance of his pheasant camp and other low averaging camps

Have been following his thread the past several years. This is the first year (I believe) that he started combining all camps. There must be some camps way outperforming the others.

If I recall he used to have different cost levels for different camps. Guessing with the flat rate model he now has that when some camps are smashing limits and others struggling you don't advertise that or it is gonna be tough to sell the lesser producing camps the following year. Just a guess.
