Grain prices
Not sure but these low grain prices could push a surge of new CRP. I had our Meadow Creek camp add 1300 new SAFE acres to its 560 acres already established. The West River Adventures Camp was looking to add 100 SAFE acres to its already existing 1500 acres. Those are both West river camps and the equation is different that east river and less competitive rents. Sustained lower grain prices could see producers seeking the high cash signing incentives for some of the wetland CRP practices eligible east river.
