The yeah, that scared me as well regarding hevi shot…#6 out of a 20 gauge 2 3/4” load is the most lethal shell I’ve ever used…I thought about #4 hevi shot to the face…not good!When I saw some tss shells at a high velocity I really scratched my head. Why send pellets that are so dense at such a high speed as they'll retain energy much better than an inferior metal like steel? Then someone told me the purpose is to open up the pattern, which makes sense.
One thing that would make me nervous about tss, would be using it in a large group situation with blockers/posters etc.
It's a 7/8oz load with maybe 1/4 ounce being TSS. It actually folds up pretty well.Just curious, how does #2 steel pack in a 28ga hull?
