Troy Smith recieves national recognition

Thank you all very much! It was a big surprise for me. I usually put my head down and do my work with goals I know I may never reach and think much of it goes unnoticed. Somebody peeked! The night was made even better when I got to see Leonard Brennan ( big quail researcher ) receive a lifetime achievement award! God is good and I've been blessed to work in a field where my passions lie anyway! It's fun to look back at a kid mesmerized by red and white bobbers at the Coast to Coast store, who started trapping at 12 at 4:00 a.m. before school at the creek a mile from town and see where those influences have led him. I really appreciate your wonderful comments and hope the dogs and I can drift across some bird laden prairie this fall again!

Congrats Troy and Thank you for all your hard work!! I see we have the same hair-do!!!:D

Congrats, and thank you for being such a big part of the habitat forum. It is very helpful to have someone with such experience on the forum who is willing to put the time in and give us newbs some advice.
