Trophy Elk Tag

Got R Done, will post pic's when I get the chance!!!! Great time!!! Saw 70 bulls and 3 Cows while I was there!!! Not, but a handful were small!!! Amazing Place!! Buddy scored as well!!!!:cheers:

Here is my Bull shot Thursday Eve. Super Heavy Bull with a broke Brow tine! And he had a broke dropper on the right antler by the base!

These elk are large bodied animals! Never seen Elk this large! It was tough to judge them because their antlers look small on such large bodied Elk!! I have never found a bullet I have shot, always a pass through!!! Shoot a 30-378 Weatherby with 180 gr. Barnes Triple Shock bullets! Shot my Elk at 217 yds twice!! Entry 2 inches apart and no exit wounds! Found one bullet stuck on the inside of the hide!!! Crazy!!!!
 
Congrats, great job Bleu! Nice looking bulls! Now for some rest before the opener on the 10th! LOL!

Cactus buck, cause I think by Parasite! EHD I think they call it! Have to read more on it!! Thanx guy's!!! First big boy!!! shot a lot, just none this big or even close!!:cheers:

Nice job and great looking bulls. Looks like it must have been warm there as you are in a t-shirt no less.
