My dog trainer, breeder has some shorter traffic leads for training. The ones he has a guy in Council Bluffs had made for him. They do NOT have a loop handle. I can’t seem to find ones like that online. Any help?

Sounds like you're after just a short check cord with a snap? Maybe find a check cord and cut it to length. I have a 30 footer from Mendota that doesn't have a loop. Obviously too long but you could cut it to your desired length and just burn the frayed ends off.

And use gloves. A short lead with a loop gives you something to really hold on to. Depending on the dog and the situation, those short leads can burn your hands as the dog takes off. Remember, you are training the dog. Things like that happen fairly often.
