80+ degrees here is too hot. Anyone have the 30+day long-range forecast for MN? Went out this apst weekend for a tune up at the game farm and it was too hot by 9:30am for the dogs.
 
Help is on the way it is in the 70's here today with Rain. We were 90 + yesterday. So it should be there in a few days......Bob

Sorry to say boys but you got it all backwards. Should be 90 degrees, not 80. Why? Pushes crop development along. Want the crops to be out in Dec or Oct.? This heat is the best thing that can happen to pheasant hunters because nothing is worse for pheasant hunting success than standing crops in the fields.

Think Hot and Dry for a good pheasant hunting season.
 
Yup I was thinking exactly the same thing. Seasons not open yet so if you want to work the dogs work em for shorter periods and give em more water. If we don't have warm weather it will be that much later until the crops are out of the field.
