The silver fox returns to Green Bay

Yeah, I dunno...

Farve...somehow equals "joy" when I think of him playing football. His whole being was involved in every play, it seemed; a total commitment to the moment, the game, his team-mates, the experience.

That wasn't feigned or perfunctory "atta boy" stuff, it was pure enthusiasm for the game, the play, the move, the score.

It was...Farve.

There have been an awful lot of superb athletes I've seen in the course of my life...Sayres, Payton, Jordan...but of all these, Farve was the only person who I thought could possibly explode with celebration.:)

Like the others I've mentioned, I feel fortunate to be alive when they played at their various professions.

Yes, thanks Da Bears:thumbsup:. 4 was the 2nd best QB the vikes had. Fran the man is still Fran the man. Favre was pretty good. More known for being a tough bastard then anything. He played like a man. Unlike this little whoosy the vikes got now who falls down and cringes every time he gets touched.:D
