The 100 Worst invasive Species

Really!??? never knew that. Might have to plant some on the edge then.

Yeah, our conservation district guys that plants our trees has been very helpful with stuff like that.

I made mistake of planting plums on outside rows on east farm and now will have a lifetime of clipping plum suckers to keep out of adjacent crop areas.

All other plantings have rocky mountain junipers on all outside rows so they are tolerant of any roundup spray drift from cropping. Made mistake on 1 row on west farm and wouldnt you know that is the one the renter smoked year 1.

I used 1 quart per acre on them this year and it really cleaned them up nice and is a good crop tree release tool. Once they get to a certain size they will out compete adjacent cover lessening the maint on them.

I'm surprised that Ringed Neck Pheasants isn't on that list.

He's not on that list, but he managed to make the Minnesota's DNR invasive list.:(

The website below contains photos of "Sichuan"/Strauchi pheasants in China. The seventh picture down shows a Strauchi rooster with a partial ring. Some have rings, some don't.

My point is Minnesota (still) has the ringneck pheasant on it's invasive list and for whatever reason:confused: If it has the "Sichuan"/Strauchi it basically has all ringneck pheasants on it's invasive list.
