Cnggack, your birds are looking very good going into spring! It seems predation on this group has been null from the time you started posting their pictures earlier this winter, until now.:thumbsup:
It's quickly becoming that time of year when snow melts away, days get longer, and birds begin dispersing. Roosters fighting over the best territor, and hens choosing their mate based on his qualities and available nesting habitat within his domain:thumbsup:

Doesn't seem to be much cover around?
A few years back some of his pheasant threads/pictures (spring/summer birds) showed areas of grassy/habitat. I'm assuming this is within the same area because the birds colors/blood-lines look very similar to the birds in the winter photos
