stomach issues

My 11 yr old GSP stoped eating and her stomach is a little bloated and seems to be in some minor to moderate discompfort as she whimpers from time to time. Did a little research on line and read of a possible stomach flip/inversion... Does anyone have any insite on this. The dog has been in an accident that has taken its toll, so her health is less than average for a 11 yr old. We may be at the point of putting her down depending on vet cost if this is an issue.

guessing

DON'T, something is wrong, while age and cost are a problem, a vet visit is in order, think you will find it is not something it didn't pass but rather medical condition that is either viral or bacterial and should be looked at. not saying you should spend your paycheck on the dog but at least find out, might be simple but you should know. all this from dr. musti

cheers

Stomach/twisted torsion if untreated is fatal in a few hours. Get to the vet, it might be something minor.

Took her to the vet and did an xray. She a some sort of mass somewhere around her stomach, which is pushing different organs toward her hind quarters. She also has fluid around her lungs. The vet (without doing more testing) believes the mass in cancerous. We don't want to see her suffer any longer. When you get that pup, you know that sooner or later this day arrives. We brought her home so everyone could say their goodbys, probably take her down tomorrow and watch her go to sleep one final time. She knows, too. Ears are down, sad look in her eyes.
