That's true, but let's also thank the people that had the wisdom and fortitude to allocate those funds where they belong. It would have been very easy to spend the money elsewhere. Thank You Pennsylvania Game Commission!

I also heartily agree, they could have thrown it all at the elk.
That amount of cash tho can be split many ways and still help.
Still, w/o the Play there would be no pheasant program as seen today.

Hatchery redeux and increased production should give the PGC haters in Pennsylvania pause.
But, I doubt it will.
 
There certainly is a sense of anticipation amongst small game hunters that I haven't seen for awhile. I agree, it's going to be a great season!
 
Man...if you look over these numbers you can't help but get excited, plus people have been seeing hold-overs and broods in places they haven't seen them in years!
