Springer Training

HI all,

I decided, a few weeks back, to add to my family and added an Field Bred English Springer Spaniel. I am beginning my research process for trainers. Looking for both obedience and hunting training. Any recommendations?

In advance, thanks!

Here's Pine Shadows web site:

I had Morgan work with my Brittany on a retrieving/delivery issue and he did an excellent job. They have been breeding and training Springers for a long time.

Where did you purchase your ESS from?

Look up something like Blaine MN springers or Blaine bird dog training my buddy with no time to train properly sent his Lil Micro springer to them & she is now a hunting machine I'm a pointer guy but would take a flusher tthey trained if I was a flusher guy that is...

They were not cheap but probably a Lil less damage then pine shadows they on TV & magazines alot

You are in a central location to many good trainers. Minnesota, Wisconsin, and North Dakota all have well respected trainers. Below is a link that lists many of them. A google search would also help you.

There probably isn't anyone on this site that knows more about field bred English Springer Spaniels than FCSpringer. I'd either shoot Ken a PM or here is a link to his web site. You might just want to give him a call. He breeds, raises, trains and runs Springers in trials.

Speaking of breeders... Have you contacted yours for advice? If the breeder is serious he/she will know what's need for his/her line of dogs to succeed.
