well....I've been fighting the flu for 8 days now and am officially going CRAZY. Our bird season here in IL ended just bout 10 days ago and Im desperately wanting to find some birds for me and my dogs to chase.....Kansas was the original plan but have talked to biologists and hunters both and apparently its a sad state of affairs there in Kansas for upland birds. I've shifted gears and now am looking at south eastern Nebraska....any info would be greatly appreciated. I have never hunted Nebraska before....Ive been looking at some WMAs in Pawnee, Johnson and Jefferson Counties.....anyone had good hunting in this region this season?
