Glad you’re sticking around britchaser. I was always taught not to talk politics or religion in public and that’s probably still wise even on social media. Didn’t read the thread in question but one would think a post about the 2nd amendment wouldn’t be very controversial on a hunting forum, apparently not.

My Dad enlisted in the Army 2 weeks before graduating from high school (as lots of guys did) and landed at Omaha Beach. He never talked about it. I'm sure my admiration for Eisenhower came from him.
