snowshoes

I did some research last year, and settled on Iverson's. Pricey but high quality. There is a learning curve to using as well. And in thick cover the bearpaw type are difficult to find a place through the brush, Cross country are more nimble but harder to learn to use. I hope I'm not forced to use them again this year, but better than staying home!

I use the Flex NRG from Tubbs snowshowes. In fact I used them today!

I used them last year a lot in SD and NE and it looks like I will be using them a fair amount again this year. I really like them as they are somewhat small and you can really get through the cover with them. i was walking through several frozen cattail sloughs with no issue today. I highly recommend them!
