Snowed…

About 2-3” heavy wet snow fell overnite…birds bunched…much corn out here in SE part of state…saw a dozen chickens roosting in big dead deciduous tree 1/2 mile from my land, flew out and watched them go 1/2 mile and land in different tree…cool!

Farmer just called, moving equipment from picked corn north of my field…50 roosters got up out of weedy stuff in ditch…he told me to walk the ditch on a different edge of field…just past water truck…I’m staying out of my field, friend of a friend from this forum hunting it tomorrow am…won’t have been hunted for a week and a half…maybe more…I drove by the ditch the 50 flushed out of 45 minutes ago, saw several, but I didn’t stop…snowing again, very foggy…haven’t seen another hunter vehicle and I’ve been driving around for an hour+…bad roads may be the culprit
