Small game license

I have heard it recommended several times that with the possiblity of the government shutdown that it might be a good idea to get your license now.
 
One guy from the waterfowl board from Chaska bought two just in case...:laugh::laugh::laugh::laugh:
 
Even if they shut her down, I sure would think they would be up and running by the time hunting season comes around.

LOL, cool, no income tax either right? No gas tax, no speeding tickets, life will be good. NO GOV.:thumbsup: I still think there a bunch of ideots, if kids can get home work done why can't these moreons. And yes they will have things back up by then. Might affect a few fishermen though.
 
The dnr web site says no license can be bought at store or online until the shutdown is over. I bought my bear license early.:(:mad:
 
Well it's for real, MN shut down for the second time in history. No gov in MN, millions of $ in revenue lost and thousands of workers laid off because of the elected idiotic dill holes we now voted in.:mad: I say pass a law that makes them stay at work till it's done, and no shut down can ever happen. Ever:rolleyes: I will just sugest go fishing with out a lic. I doubt they can give tickets.
 
I was on some DNR information links last night and they are shut down. I'm not sure you will even be able to surf them on the web during the shut down.
 
Just checked the website. It is shut down except for a main page with frequently asked questions.

1. You can't buy a license right now.

2. You can still get a ticket.

3. DNR Conservation Officers will still be patrolling and checking licenses.

Sounds like it will be along summer if you didn't already have your license.
 
Can't imagine how much this will cost in tourisim dollars. And what if your the guy with a paid vacation from a southern state, and did not know till you show up?:mad: ( I bet they say hang em too, LOL) The more you think about it the more you just shake your head in discust. I will sell my Lic, I won't use it any more any way. Fishing was slow from shore from cold rains and I don't get time for a boat any more. 50c on the dollar.:D
