Side oats gramma grass

I planted some of this 4 years ago and its doing pretty well. I have a question though. All the pics, drawings and descriptions that I've seen about it show it as having the seeds coming off one side of the stem. I've got quite a bit of mine thats got the seed heads coming off BOTH sides of the main stem. Is this a different strain or type of side oats or what? Just kinda curious.

I believe that it's more of both sides, but they fold both to 1 direction. There are hairs on the leaf margins that originate from pustules. It's one of my favorite grass species. I've watched many a rooster lift from stands of sideoats. I hope to see a few more.

My mother told me to stay away from places where you could catch a bad case of pustules.

Pustules are common in acne. They may occur anywhere on the body, but are most commonly seen on the face, shoulders, back, and over the breastbone, and in areas of increased sweating such as the groin and armpit. Pustules may be a sign of a bacterial infection, and should be checked by a doctor.

jaytee-

I had to look up what part of the state you were in. I do some plant swapping with a gentleman in Northern Missouri and during our first phone conversation he was asking if I had any side oats gramma in my CRP grass mix. He really likes SOG in his area in Mercer County, Missouri.

Here is a link to Sharp Bros.

Dropseed is my favorite.
