During Pheasant hunting season? WTH?

These storms seem to be able to come later and later in the season each year. We have been chased off the duck blind/water several times in the last 10 years because of lightening. That never happened to me as a teen growing up in Minnesota

It could be alot worse, like the Armistice day Blizzard or Halloween 1991.

I could expect winter type weather but not damaging thunderstorms
