I hope the dog does well. I like to see people bring the hunting back into this breed. I hate watching any breed just die in the way of hunting type breeding.
I bought me a English Cocker years back. My dad had one years ago and talked about what a great dog it was. It got ducks out and everything. I worked mine from pup on. He was a fantastic grouse dog and retrieved birds out of the water as good as any Lab I had. I had a Lab that liked to run off(show me a Lab that don't). Well he took the cocker with one day and both never came back. I looked for them for weeks. I was heart broke..not about the Lab..he could have stayed gone, damn runners.
