Thanks Jmac, How is your season been???

Bleu, This has been a dismal year for quail down here. Opening day I shot 2 Birds out of one covey of 12-15 quail. Only covey we saw that day and we didn't chase singles. I have been out about 20 time so far this year and Numbers are way down. Still got about three weeks left in the season. I cleaned a safed the Shotguns for season. I'm thinking leave them to breed. COME ON SPRING RAINS. I'm starting a QF chapter, with the help of Bob Hix, of Colorado/Wyoming PF/QF. Our first meeting is the 11 of this month. It hopefully will be the first chapter in Arizona. I'm very Excited about this.

Nice Work. Meeting some folks south of Dodge City this weekend, let you know how we do over there...haven't heard anything encouraging but it beats sitting around the house. Just curious...which town where you near?

South of Dodge gets you close to Oklahoma and those Okies come over and kill all the birds. :):p

Seriously, good luck to you. The drought has really put a hurt on the birds, so please don't expect much other than open spaces and exercise. Might witness a spectacular sunset at no extra charge.

9 guys, 4 dogs...2 birds, but plenty of memories! Well worth it despite the lack of birds. The area was definitely hit hard by drought/hail storms.
