Rooster pheasant habit in April

I know the roosters set up territories, keep other cocks out and crow to attract hens, but do they have a specific "strut zone" like you see with gobbler turkeys or do they just wander all over their territory.

Hmmm. Interesting question to which I don't know the answer. My guess would be they'll strut around pretty much wherever.

I watched rooster pheasants while turkey hunting. I would say yes ... some roosters walk out to the same little spot and crow.
