Rooster Lager

This has been a pretty tame thread! Normally guys get going on what breed of dog is the best, what gun, etc., and it can get interesting.

I'm a craft beer, lager and ale guy myself. The brewery in Hendricks sounds like my kind of place. A small, startup business trying to make a go of it. Not some big corporate thing.

I'll drink the mass produced swill when I have to, but if I have a choice I go for something with some body to it. New Glarus Brewery in SW WI, is my favorite brewery. Moon Man ale, Two Women lager, Naked lager and my daughters love their Spotted Cow. A Guinness or Murphy's Irish Ale can't be beat, either. We've got a couple good micro-breweries here in Wausau, too, but you can't get those out of town.

I SEEPOINT IS GETTING CRAFTY. I LIKED THEIR REGULAR OLD BEER.
Try Henry Weinhardt's Reserve if yoou can find it. I thought Rooster was fine. Maybe not the best I ever had, but hardly the worst. Some people just don't like any thing dark or musty. Me? I am just a dumb CZEH whio's dad was in the beer business. Doubly blessed!!!

Doesn't look like they offer Rooster Lager anywhere near here. I wanted to try it. They need a online order option.
