Road trip

I'm in the initial planning stage of a road trip for Dad and I. He's retired now and I have over 160hrs of vacation to burn so I'm thinking an extended trip is in order this fall. Tentative schedule so far is to hunt some mountain quail and grouse in Nor Cal then work our way up eastern Oregon possibly hunting chuks and quail if it looks promising. From there we'll head east from Ontario through Idaho towards Montana maybe trying for a grouse and a long hike somewhere around Jsdriggs neck of the woods.:cheers: From there we'll keep heading east for a few days hunting eastern Montana and finally south to SD and back home from there leaving enough time to say high to Jmac down there in Arizona.:thumbsup: This is just an idea as of now and will probably change as I do more research. I'll be sending some pm's to some of you who I believe I have good rapport with and could offer me a little guidance. How much harm could a couple Cali boys with unruly, tame quail hunting springers do?

Love to have you come down and chase some Quail. We have been getting some rain, so there is some hope of rebound of bird number. Let me know of your plans .
