restart energy bars..not good?

Everyone using restart energy bars...they contain BHA and BHT which are known cancer causing agents (google it). They act as a preservative. Should not be in any of your dog foods or treats, according to studies. Buy items that use tocoperals, which are a natural preserative. lets take care of our buddies! there are some good options for energy treats..It is surprising that PF has their label on the package.

As does a well known veterinarian (who will remain nameless) from SoDak and avid hunter in his own right, also uses and endorses the K9 restart products. Do we actually know how much of this preservative has to be consumed to be toxic? and how much is actually in the K9 products specifically?

I do know that BHA has been used as a preservative in many human grade foods for a long time as well. If you search you can find studies done and how much the FDA actually allows to be used for low toxicity.

Damn, the RealTree Booster Bars I use have BTA and BHA as well now that I look at the ingredients.

Do we actually know how much of this preservative has to be consumed to be toxic? and how much is actually in the K9 products specifically?

Restart bars

BHA and BHT are out of most pet foods..for a reason....Any amount of bad stuff is too much for my buddy.
Zukes power bars are great and have natural preservatives....and they seem great!!!
Natural preservatives are more costly as ingredients...hmmmm
