Tomorrow is a day for remembrance, as it marks the 10th anniversary of 911. Thousands of innocent Americans lost their lives in a senseless act of terrorism. As I sit here tonight, I find it hard to believe that it has been 10 Years ago, that we all sadly witnessed this tragic event unfold before our vary eyes on national TV.
September 11th, 2011 has forever changed our daily lives in many ways, as our Freedoms and Liberty‘s that we cherish as a Nation was challenged. Most of us can remember where each and every one of us was that day. Let’s remember the victims, the families, the friends and love ones affected by this tragic event. Take a few moments and reflect back on what has transpired since that day. Think about the heroic efforts of our first responders, rushing into harms way of the twin towers, attempting to do the impossible knowing that they may never see there love ones again. The stories of that day are endless, but many.
As a Nation, seldom does everyone come together for a common cause. But for a brief moment in time, Americans did.
In addition to remembering the victims of 911, we all owe a great debt of gratitude and admiration to the defenders of this Nation. The men and women of our Armed Forces have been standing guard around the world taking the fight to the enemy, so that we all can enjoy our Freedoms and Liberty. Let us never forget, as we will be a stronger, greater Nation for it. God Bless.
