You guys are gonna get dang tired of me bragging about Regular Dog [RD]
She is 10 months old. Packed with energy and always hunting, she just hasn't figured out what yet.
This happened yesterday.
I got these young Pheasants right? about 50, 3 weeks old. Their in a brooder pen with out a roof. I knew it was time to get them into a bigger pen with a roof/wire top. I've been real busy. So I check on the birds, seems to be fewer 10-12 gone. Out in the grass RD is sniffing hard, up comes a young bird. I dash for the landing net. Grass is kinda thick and tall but I make the capture. Bird in the cage RD comes up with another, soft mouth she gives it up. This went on for a while we recover 8 birds RD sniffed out all, She came out with 2 stiff ones. Been cold and wet up here. They had only been out for a few hours to young to handle much cool and wet.
