Quail chicks

I saw the first quail chicks of the year, today near casa grande. mom leading 10 little fuzzball with pop bring up the rear. Should be a good year.:)
 
Very cool. I expect to be seeing my first broods any time now.:cheers:
 
Yes at our QF meeting tonight the Game and fish rep stated that they are hatching and doing very well, so far. keeping my fingers crossed.:cheers:
 
I'm seeing 2-4 nesting birds every few days in Oklahoma. Just hope we get some nice drizzling rains.

saw a small bunch of then in n. w. kansas, don't see them often, boy, they sure could run, really fast, not like other quail around
