I do. If you read the ingredients '& their order on the bag side by side with Purina Pro Plan, you will see they are identical. My experience in manufacturing leads me to strongly suspect that the company produces both brands from the same raw materials & simply packages & markets them to seperate markets. If there was an actual difference, it would certainly make more sense for the Company to identify clearly to the field/working dog owner exactly why the Pro Plan justifies a much higher price. I believe Purina probably negotiates the best prices for their raw materials by purchasing the largest possible quantities of the same components & selling the Pro Plan at the higher price to the sporting dog market.

I fed Pro Plan for years to my hard working hunting & field trial dogs and have not noticed any difference since switching to Purnia One.

My Step-son feeds Purina One to his Brittanys and they seem to do just fine on it. Like Nimrod said, the ingredients and analysis is basically the same as ProPlan.
 
I know this doesn't answer your question, but my pup experienced the same symptoms on Pro Plan so I switched. I use & have used for 3 years Kirkland (Costco) Grain Free Salmon Meal with Sweet Potato (blue bag; also comes in turkey <red bag> & beef <yellow bag>). Hank thrives on it, no more squirts, and not much waste/excess clean-up. Price is fairly reasonable, too.
 
Kirkland is made by Diamond.

Back to the original post. Give Purina One a try for a few months and see how your dog does. Each dog is different. While one may thrive on ProPlan or Diamond, another may not tolerate it as well.
 
4 or 5 months ago my dog did the same thing. I think FC's dogs did too. Mine took about a month and half to go away. Stick with it and I think it will go away or change it to purina one, its supposed to be good food, I dont know what they did to diamond,,,shouldnt be doing that.
 
Kirkland may be made by Diamond, but it straightened Hank right out. Likely it was the absence of grain fillers. All I know is that it works for my dog. Additionally, sweet potato is a stool hardener. And as an aside, everyone should clip the lot number from the bag of whatever you feed & retain it against recall announcements, since those occur occasionally and can effect many brands.
 
Been using it exclusively for 14 years with great results. You can find it everywhere so you never have to stress your dog with a strange diet when you're caught short. Vets always compliment the musculature and great health of my dogs.

I'd try something else

I just can't bring myself to feed my dog a food with so much corn in it. I know a lot of people swear their dogs do good on the stuff. I've done a lot of research on dog food and I've tried many over the year. There is much better food out there than Purina for the money. I feed Kinetics. It's a good food for the money. I would give it a look as well as Native. They are very similar foods.
