Curious which wildlife organizations others are sending a few bucks to or are members of? I'm not tied to any of these other than being a member of PF and now a new member of QF (so no sales pitch going on here by me). Which ones are you tied to or send a little money to? I'm sure the good ones could always use a few more bucks from us. Could make for an interesting & hopefully informative thread... and shouldn't get to political.

btw... poll is set up so you can vote for more than one option and poll is also private so member names won't be displayed. :) Also, if you know of another good one we can check out for ourselves, please post it.

PF and QF , lots of good habitat ideas we use on our farm . We are fortunate to have a PF/QF representative at our NRSC office

QF/ PF, DU, Cal waterfowl, and BHA (back country hunters and anglers). They all do important things for our favorite wildlife and wild places.

I've been active with PF the last 5 years and got roped onto the board a couple of years ago. I just posted a note about upcoming banquets in the Colorado section. One of the things I really like about PF is the local chapters get to keep most of the money they raise and determine how they spend it-habitat improvement, youth and novice training, etc. I really enjoy giving back to the sport that I have enjoyed so much all my life and trying to get more kids involved.

If you are not currently a member, please consider joining--it's only $35 a year and includes a quarterly magazine. And if you join, don't just go to a banquet--check out the chapter meetings, volunteer to help out with activities or the banquet planning. Thanks to all of you.

I agree... Most of us spend that for a tank of gas just to get to the field... If you can do a few bucks more, all the better.

Whoa! Looking at all those pooches in your sig... there's not a bird on the planet that won't be found with 5!
Cool and kidding... I see a couple older ones too... they're not with us long enough. For the first time, I will be running 2 in the field together this fall. I will be adding another pup this spring if all goes well. I can't believe my GSP is almost 7 already.

Shawk, oldest lab does not hunt and oldest Britt tags along. It is fun and I added the yellow lab as a graduation gift for my wife for completing her degree.....I encouraged her to do her masters so I could buy another gift:D

I like your thinking! :D I have 3 kids and a second pooch coming... I won't push my luck!

That's cool that your Britt is still tagging along. We had to put ours down about 7 years ago. Her and I ran very hard for about 9 years. I noticed she just hit a wall in that 9th year too. I kind of wish I hadn't hunted so hard with her, but I know she had a blast and we shot a lot of birds together. From about 10-11ish on, I went out just to let her run... Britts are tough to beat in the field and at home.
