Hey all, thought I'd post a little tip that may help some of you out of state folks (as well as residents). As you know, the PLOTS guide published by G&F is not the best. Doesn't show any roads, streets etc. If can be down right hard to find the location of a PLOTS using the guide.

Anyway, I've found that by cross referencing the PLOTS guide with this:

https://www.biblio.com/book/north-d...MI0tya2vuO1gIVCpF-Ch3G8wELEAQYASABEgIF8PD_BwE

You'll be able to find any PLOTS or other public hunting lands without to much difficulty. This can be a great resource, I keep one in my truck at all times.

Best of luck!

Greg

excellent post GJW.

I downloaded the North Dakota Explorer app. I found it on the game and fish site. it is pretty good. it shows all state land and federal land. It shows your gps location so you know where you are. it works with android and apple devices. going to use it in the field this year. also the app is free!

Thanks for that info! Wasn't aware that they had sometime like that. Appreciate the info!

Best,

I can read those maps like the back of my hand. Of course I grew up in ND have hunted over half of the counties ... some times I miss by a mile or two, but circling around never hurt anything anyways.

Thanks for the info! I will check both of those out. There is also an app called ESRI. It has most of the public lands in the states we hunt on it. It will do a map overly similar to google maps. It shows your current GPS position. Sounds similar to what Pheasanthunt told us about.
